"First time looking at "CB" you get a sensation as if this fantastic world exist on its own, completely out of this reality. That is the whole concept behind "CB". When people ask me: "What is the CB?" - I often find it difficult to explain. Perhaps, it would be easier to answer what it's not, and, nevertheless, it actually exists, lives and affects reality around us."

Emre Baykal was born in Istanbul in 1975.
At the age of four he moved to Switzerland with his family.

He graduated at the Christ König Kollegium, Zurich.

In 1999 he went to St. Petersburg in order to study Russian language at university.

Soon he commenced with his art studies and worked with Russian artists such as Andrey Malinovskiy (Reriha Art School), Prof. Andrey Pakhomov, (head of graphic department and corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts) and Oleg Grechkin (St. Petersburg Fine Arts Academy).

2008 Emre became a member of the Saint-Petersburg Union of Artists, he is also a member of the USPD, International Association of Art in Turkey, as well as a member of the Kunstverein Schwyz, Switzerland.

Emre Baykal took part in many exhibitions all over Europe, especially in Switzerland, Russia and Turkey.

The artist works in his studios in Zurich and Siebnen, Switzerland, and in St. Petersburg, Russia.

His works are located in private collections throughout Europe, Russia and Turkey.
